NGC 2444 and NGC 2445, forming Arp 143, are both visible in the 12mm, but NGC 2445 looks more like a star at this low magnification. Several stars are very nearby, so this is complicating the view. NGC 2445 could be mistaken to form a double star with the small star next to is. NGC 2444 is more readily visible as being a gx. NGC 2445 remains difficult for direct vision at all magnifications, and is best with averted vision. Both seem round, NGC 2444 at about 0.6 arcmin and with a bright small core, and NGC 2445 at about 0.35arcmin without a core. See sketch.
